Many still believe Fury’s wins over Wilder were pseudo and the corruption in the sport robbed Wilder of his glory.

To date, the referee’s slow count has been the biggest subject of debate in the Wilder and Fury trilogy. It happened twice. Once in the first fight when Wilder dropped ‘The Gypsy King‘ in the 12th round. However, the fight ended in a draw in December 2018. This led to the rematch.
More than a year later, the duo met again at MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas. The rematch remained the cleanest of all three fights. Fury stopped Wilder in the seventh round.
Not satisfied Wilder again challenged Fury in October 2021. Though Fury again won the fight by TKO, this time with controversy. In the fourth round, Wilder dropped the champion twice with a lethal right cross however the latter survived it and continued to fight.
After the fight, the referee’s slow count became a matter of concern. Many videos were released showing the referee’s negligence.
How did fans react to the post accusing the referee of slow counting which led to the victory of Tyson Fury?
A fan wrote, “Fury should be 3-0 against Wilder. Stop playin.”
Another fan wrote, “Also, why didn’t wilder go to his corner. Just stop.”
