Deontay Wilder, a former heavyweight champion, is renowned for his stunning knockouts. In a recently released footage, Wilder’s trainer failed to protect his chin from the boxer’s steel fists.

The ‘Bronze Bomber’ can be seen practicing the mitts with his trainer. But the fighter was so intent on hitting the pads that a strong blow missed the mitt and landed on his trainer’s chin.

The trainer nearly got his chin fractured from Wilder’s punch. Even one punch from the knockout artist can break someone’s jaw. Wilder has not been inside the squared circle since his last fight with Tyson Fury. However, it now appears that he may shortly stage a stunning comeback.

Deontay Wilder set for a spectacular return
Fans of boxing used to be glued to their seats when Wilder and ‘The Gypsy King’ faced off in the ring. Each of the three professional matches between the two champions has been well-attended by the crowd. The American athlete hasn’t participated in combat since his trilogy match with Fury. He will face off against Robert Helenius of Finland in October. But he has something more significant coming his way.

British boxing star Anthony Joshua recently lost his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk. There have been rumors that he might retire now. But that could not be further from the truth. According to Talksport, Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, revealed, “I’d like to see him back out. Maybe even in late December. There’s massive fights for him. Dillian Whyte, Deontay Wilder.”
