Deontay Wilder Set to Become a Pilot Before Returning to Boxing: “We Finna Be Rolling Out 737”

Former WBC heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder, was last seen in the ring in 2021, where he faced Tyson Fury for their sensational showdown. Meanwhile, Wilder revealed that he is in the process of getting his pilot’s license.

Deontay Wilder was talking to podcasters, Black Fight Fan (TrillTalk), 78SportsTV, and CeceTheGreat. In the conversation, Black Fight Fan asked him about how he was spending his time away from boxing.

In response, Wilder mentioned that he was spending his time rewinding to music. Moreover, he also gave an insight into his multiple real estate endeavors. In fact, he revealed he has a few properties coming up, which include a plaza, restaurants, and gyms.

Wilder also revealed that he was in the process of getting his pilot license. He said, “Some of my amazing things, I’m about to get ready to get my pilot license too. You know what I mean.”

He also added, “Right now as we speak. We may have, well I ain’t gonna say may, we’re finna be rolling out 737. You know what I’m saying, and your boy gonna be outta here.”

Wilder mentioned that he plans to venture into private jets and start chartering them.

Deontay Wilder gets his own statue

Deontay Wilder was honored with a bronze statue by his townspeople in his hometown of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Clad in black, the ‘Bronze Bomber’ arrived for the ceremony with his family. Moreover, Wilder was overcome with emotions prior to unveiling his statue. He said, “I’m choking a little bit I got a little you know kissed it so this is me and I’m like to present everything Kayla’s state of the art and my statue so on the count of three I’m gonna reveal.”

Wilder also won the hearts of boxing fans with his wholesome reaction after unveiling the statue. He went on to hug the statue and kiss it.
