Ever since, the two have been at loggerheads, never missing an opportunity to haul one over the coals.
In a video clip shared over the social media platform, Instagram, Jake, and his manager shared what happened in the background that led to the former’s recent absence from the Mayweather – Olatunji main card in Dubai.

When Jake Paul met Floyd Mayweather Jr.
It was the first non-scoring contest against Jake’s elder brother Logan that fanned the flames of animosity. During a press conference on May 6th, 2021, Jake Paul snatched Mayweather Jr.’s cap in the middle of a sharp-tongued exchange outside. The security detail and the camp followers quickly brought down a mini-brawl.

On November 13th, Floyd’s latest exhibition against Deji culminated at the Coca-Cola arena in Dubai. However, before the fight got off the ground, it seems he had set an apparent demand for his appearance inside the ring – a complete ban on Jake Paul.

Jake’s manager continued, “So Jake, for the benefit of the fans, rather making a stink gonna go home to his girlfriend Julia and have a great last night in Dubai.”

One can exercise his liberty to imagine what would happen if Jake had been present during the fight. The bangarang, after Tommy Fury failed the final weigh-in against Paul Bamba, and had to fight a substitute, Rolly Lambert, is still fresh in fans’ memories. However, Jake Paul was audacious enough to pick on both the father-son duo this time.
Run in with the flamboyant Andrew Tate thankfully passed on after a few snide exchanges.

To all appearances, Jake Paul is remarkably living up to his nickname, The Problem Child. Millions of fans keenly follow the attention-grabbing sneering and disdain. He can lash out his tongue on the back of fast punches. Whether this lethal combination is as effective against a boxer matching him in toto, time will tell.
