

YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul, has tried his luck in getting fights with ‘real boxers’. However, his wish remained unfulfilled as fights with Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr. Paul recently revealed that these canceled fights cost him ‘millions of dollars’.

Paul was talking in his latest vlog, on his channel, while aboard a private jet. The main focus was his upcoming fight with Anderson Silva. But, in conversation, he also opened up about his canceled fight with Rahman Jr. He mentioned how his father, Hasim Rahman, mentioned that Rahman Jr. does not work hard during the press conference. And, that he underperformed.
Paul further added, “I was ready, training for 120 days in a row. Finished up camp. And, it just gets pulled from under my feet. I am devastated.”

Moreover, he also revealed that he lost a lot of money due to the canceled fights. Paul said, “Between Tommy and Hasim. They’ve cost me and my partners, Madison Square Garden, Showtime, Most Valuable Promotions, millions and millions of dollars. This kid doesn’t want to fight.”
‘The Problem Child’ also mentioned that he was thankful to be surrounded by supportive people.
What’s in store for Jake Paul
The cancellation of the two fights did not down the spirits of ‘The Problem Child’. In fact, he is all set to face the MMA GOAT, Anderson Smith. It was announced on September 6, 2022, that Paul will be facing the legend for an October showdown.

While many have called out Paul for not fighting ‘real boxers’. It should be mentioned that Silva has an illustrious MMA career spanning 23 years. He has an impressive record of 34-11-0 in the UFC, with a whopping 23 knockouts. Silva also transitioned into boxing and showcased a stellar performance against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
