The fans await the clash of the welterweight titans. Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford are one of the most awaited matchups in the sport. And these two will step foot inside the boxing ring on June 29th. Notably, the winner of this fight will take home all the welterweight belts at once. And, with more than a month left for the showdown, both welterweights will be counting the days before they exchange jabs inside the boxing ring. Recently, the two kicked off the first press conference for their fight. And, like any other press conference, this one was not free from trash-talking, as the two tried to constantly get inside each other’s heads. But, it seems like Crawford’s one statement did not sit well with the unified welterweight champion.

Terence Crawford made a bold claim about himself as a professional boxer. But, his opponent, Spence Jr., slammed ‘Bud’ with contrasting opinions, which inevitably led to the fans being intrigued and increased the hype for the fight.

The trash talk between Crawford and Spence Jr. leaves the fans wanting more

During the Press Conference, Crawford claimed that his fight with Spence Jr. will “solidify” him as “the greatest fighter of this era.” But, without any doubt, Spence Jr. disagreed with him. And, rather, slammed his claim by talking about his previous fights.

Spence Jr. said, “Definitely not, man; I ain’t gonna lie. Top Rank got the best matchmakers in the business. You haven’t fought anybody. You haven’t beaten anyone.” Spence Jr. further talked about Crawford’s fight against Shawn Porter. Spence claimed that Porter admitted that he did not train for the fight as he should have.

The two were going at it. As Crawford even asked if Porter was broken when Spence Jr. fought him, to which Spence responded with a simple “no.” And, while talking about fighting each other, Crawford said, “I’mma break that.” The promo for the fight was recently released, and it left the fans excited. One fan thinks it’s an easy road to undisputed for Crawford.

A fan named William has gotten even more excited after watching the press conference.

One user believes that Crawford looked so confident in the presser.
