The sudden disruption of Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 has irked several fans. The WBC title fight, which had replaced an undisputed clash, is no longer happening on July 24. Instead, it may take place on October 9. However, Eddie Hearn highly doubts the fact behind the immediate postponement, which came just a few weeks before the original date.
The Matchroom Promoter connected with IFL TV and commented on the Fury vs Wilder 3 scenario. That said, he also ridiculed Top Rank kingpin Bob Arum for failing to stick to the official fight date.
“I told you the fight wouldn’t happen. Whether it’s covid-related, whether the fact that they haven’t sold any tickets. Whether it’s the worry that the pay-per-view is gonna flop,” said Eddie Hearn.

However, Deontay Wilder’s sudden intervention disrupted things. Hence, Hearn went ahead and secured the Usyk fight for Anthony Joshua.
