In an exhibition match, he took on former training partner and also a retired professional boxer, Don Moore. The bout went the whole distance of the 8 scheduled rounds, and since it was an exhibition match, none was declared the winner.

It has been three months since Mayweather made his comeback to entertain the fans. A lot has happened in the sport in that course of time. Gervonta Davis defeated Rolando Romero to defend his WBA regular lightweight title; Devin Haney became the undisputed lightweight champion at 23, and Oleksandr Usyk just beat Anthony Joshua for the second time.
