Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is set to face social media star Deji on November 13th in Dubai. The bout was officially confirmed following Mayweather’s victory in his exhibition bout against Mikuru Asakura last month. However, it looks like the organizers for the event, Global Titans have already made some future plans for ‘Money’.

In an interview with SunSport, the CEO of the organization Uday Singh revealed that they were working on a potential bout between Mayweather and his longtime rival, Manny Pacquiao. “We’re working on Floyd and Manny Pacquiao already,” said Singh. However, Mayweather’s camp has denied any talks for a match against the former 8-division champion.

Despite this, Singh seemed confident that a match could very well take place in the future. He revealed that although Pacquiao was also not interested in a rematch, at first talks will push through once the fighters were satisfied with their purses. “I’ve already had the first meeting with Manny Pacquiao, because at first he was not keen either. It’s just egos, nothing else. But at the end of the day, Floyd’s a good guy, he’s a good fighter. Once you’ve satisfied him with his purse, he’s happy to fight whoever. But it’s to his interest as well.” He added.

Moreover, he even revealed that if both fighters are willing, the bout could take place in Las Vegas next year. However, he added that ‘Money‘ needed to compete in Saudi Arabia first.

It will be in Las Vegas, either in the summer of 2023 or the Autumn, around September or October. We’re looking at the summer, around July or August. But first, he’ll fight with us in Saudi Arabia in February or Match.” He said.

Mayweather retired from professional boxing back in 2017 following his 50th professional victory. However, even though he has retired from professional boxing, the former five-division champ still likes to compete in exhibition bouts. Moreover, it seems like the 45-year-old is not ready to call it quits yet as he plans to fight well into next year.
