The highly anticipated bout between the ‘Born Rivals’, Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn, was to take place on October 8, 2022. But the fight couldn’t come forth, due to a drug test controversy. Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr. were to fight exactly when 29 years would have passed between the last fight between their fathers, Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank Sr.

The fight was postponed because Benn had failed the drug test. He was accused of taking, clomifene, which is a testosterone booster for men and is a banned drug. But even today, Benn rebuked the result and denied all the accusations that have been imposed on him. Many big names like Lou DiBella spoke their minds on the matter and asked him to be put under a ban without any excuses. But the investigation is still going on and recently, amid the ongoing investigation for failing a doping test, Conor Benn got a sigh of relief.
