Three-division female world champion Claressa Shields has had her say on YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul. The internet sensation has been all over the headlines in the past weeks.
He knocked out Nate Robinson in devastating fashion and has wasted no time in calling out all the super-stars. However, seasoned champion Claressa Shields is having none of the hype.
The ‘GWOAT’ replied to a fan’s question on Twitter and gave her views on Jake Paul. To the question of whether she could beat Jake Paul, she said, “Man I’d beat the hell out of @jakepaul ! He better stick to fighting you tubers as basketball players! Leave us REAL FIGHTERS ALONE!”

Clearly, Shields does not rate Paul as a ‘real’ fighter. This is one of the biggest criticisms the internet sensation has received since his fight. Many traditional boxing fans believe the concept of YouTubers fighting legends is ruining the sport.
Jake Paul himself has not helped his case, as he has constantly called out fighters that no one thinks he should be fighting.

Does Claressa Shields have a fight?
The ‘GWOAT’ has been very vocal on her social media and has been in the headlines a few times herself. She expressed an interest to fight Savannah Marshall and also opened up to fans about her situation.
However, there is still no progress for the champion in that regard. There has been no confirmation on the Marie-Eve Dicaire fight as yet, and Shields has to wait.
