Recently, Chavez Sr. was in an interaction with the media, wherein he said, “If Mayweather is down to fight me, then absolutely, let’s do it.”
“Mayweather told me he’s not his uncle, I told him it doesn’t matter, I’m still gonna beat your a**.”
In June this year, Mayweather locked horns with lanky YouTuber turned boxer, Logan Paul. There was a vast difference in the duo’s physical stats. However, the 50-0 boxer tried everything in his favor to make this fight worth the watch.
Furthermore, he even banked around $100 million for 16 minutes of action. Looking at Chavez Sr.’s interest in this fight and Mayweather’s comments, this fight might come to fruition.
