Floyd Mayweather is an absolute boxing stalwart who grabbed millions of eyeballs with his stellar boxing prowess. In his illustrious stint, Mayweather locked horns with some of the best contenders, and he always came out on top. Also, for every boxing outing, he made millions of dollars through sponsorships and more.
Moving on, ‘TBE’s walkout costumes and overall fight gear always got some sound attention. But, something fans looked for in Mayweather’s fights was the gloves he wore. For a huge chunk of his career, ‘Pretty Boy’ wore Grant boxing gloves.

Naturally, ‘Money’ could’ve agreed to many other attractive offers considering his immense popularity. However, the boxing phenom stood loyal to Grant Gloves, never considering the offers from other brands like Cleto Reyes.
Recently, Mayweather, in one of his interviews, apologized to Cleto Reyes CEO in an interaction over boxing gloves. He said, “I know I made other glove company big, that was me, I’m sorry.”
“We gotta work together as a team. Yeah, we still gotta work together as a team, and we’re going to do it,” the 44-YO legend further added.
In the same interaction, Mayweather even asserted about getting other fighters to wear these gloves and that he himself would consider wearing it.
‘TBE’ retired from pro-boxing in 2017. However, his love for the sport is paramount and Mayweather cannot separate himself from it. That said, despite retiring, Mayweather stays active in the boxing universe as a promoter, and he often looks to bring up some charisma to the sport.
A few months back, Mayweather stepped inside the ring for an exhibition bout. He took on the YouTuber turned boxer, Logan Paul, and gave his absolute best to allure his fans. The 44-year-old looked extremely fit, and in his true element in this contest.
