Oleksandr Usyk recently retained his titles after a sensational win against Anthony Joshua on August 20, 2022. Moreover, there have been widespread speculations about who Usyk might face next. And, unsurprisingly, a lot of fingers were pointed toward a ‘retired’ Tyson Fury. However, Fury recently revealed what might actually entice him to come out of retirement.
Tyson Fury on the Oleksandr Usyk fight: "This fight is purely about money. I'm happily retired, I've got plenty of money. It needs to be the biggest payday in the world. Floyd Mayweather got $400million for Manny Pacquiao. I want $500million for Usyk." [@talkSPORT]

Fury was in a telephonic conversation with Talksport. In conversation, he mentioned how people kept asking him about coming out of retirement and fighting Usyk. And talking about his motivation to come back, Fury said, “I’m retired from boxing and I’m very happy doing that. However, I will come back, but it has to be for obscene amounts of money.”
Meanwhile, he also stated that if Joshua was his opponent, he would have fought for free in England. In fact, he even went on to call Usyk a ‘foreigner who nobody cares about’. Fury mentioned that he did not wish to give Usyk a ‘legendary status’ unless he got paid for doing so.
