It wouldn’t be unfair to argue that Canelo Alvarez is making his legacy in the time we live in. Let’s look at what Mayweather the legend has to say about him.
While talking to FightHype.com, Mayweather stated, “One thing about Canelo, he’s gonna step up to the plate and do what he gotta do. I may shoot at him, but he’s gonna fight. I can’t knock the motherf***er because he’s going down in the Hall of Fame.”

The “Pretty Boy” is unquestionably proud of Alvarez for what he has accomplished and will continue to accomplish. Evidently, “Money” was responsible for the Mexican’s first professional setback. Following the loss, Alvarez won every fight he contested for years until he recently fell to Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol.
