Floyd Mayweather’s One Line Canelo Alvarez Prediction Stun Fans

Over the years, boxing has magnificently matured as a sport. Muhammad Ali was the first big name in boxing, followed by the reign of Mike Tyson and then the invincible era of Floyd Mayweather. It wouldn’t be unfair to argue that Canelo Alvarez is making his legacy in the time we live in. Let’s look at what Mayweather the legend has to say about him.

While talking to FightHype.com, Mayweather stated, “One thing about Canelo, he’s gonna step up to the plate and do what he gotta do. I may shoot at him, but he’s gonna fight. I can’t knock the motherf***er because he’s going down in the Hall of Fame.”

The “Pretty Boy” is unquestionably proud of Alvarez for what he has accomplished and will continue to accomplish. Evidently, “Money” was responsible for the Mexican’s first professional setback. Following the loss, Alvarez won every fight he contested for years until he recently fell to Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol.

While boxers engage in combat inside the ring, much attention has been drawn to a war that is taking place online on Twitter. Fans appear to be amazed that Mayweather, a significant rival of the Mexican, stands up for him.

The fan clearly feels that it is quite unusual that ‘Money’ is praising Alvarez, and he funnily quotes Mayweather saying all this at gunpoint.

Another fan says that this is not the real Floyd Mayweather. 

Some fans looked deep into the subject and made assumptions that maybe the retired boxer made these statements so he looks good. 

Twitter was filled with many comments revolving around different angles on the subject. But it is a good thing for boxers to appreciate each other proving their real sportsmanship.

The Alvarez vs. Golovkin is a fight that has long had boxing fans on the edge of their seats. On September 16, 2017, the Mexican king and Gennady Golovkin engaged in a championship fight in front of a cluttered T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The world’s top two boxers faced off in a showdown, and the match more than lived up to expectations. However, it finished in a draw, indicating that there will be another match.

Just a year later, the two warriors met again inside the ring on September 15, 2018. The combatants set the T-Mobile Arena on fire, showing some fantastic footwork and strong jabs. It was a cutthroat battle between the two. Eventually, the Mexican king stood victorious in the end via decision.
