Forgotten Photo of Sylvester Stallone With ‘Rocky’ Co-Star Makes Boxing World Nostalgic

Sylvester Stallone has acted in many iconic movies. His 6 series film “Rocky” is what he is best known for. He played the iconic role of ‘Rocky Balboa’ in the popular franchise. Ever since then, he got famous in the boxing community, and thereafter his name got associated with the sport. Interestingly, it did not stop there for him as he also played the role of a trainer in two Creed spin-offs starring Michael B Jordan. 

Mister T. was Stallone’s co-star in the ‘Rocky’ series and played a paramount role in the film. The two squared off against each other in the film. He played the role of “James Clubber Lang” in Rocky 3. Lang defeated Rocky Balboa in a championship bout in the film. 

The duo thereafter become iconic in not just Hollywood but also in the sport of boxing. Recently, an image surfaced online of the two which left fans nostalgic.

The film franchise was so iconic that even after decades it finds a place in every boxing fan’s heart. A picture was posted on Facebook in which Stallone and Mister T. were photographed together. The fans were stunned seeing this picture which made them nostalgic about the time they saw the film.

The fans still have love and affection towards the iconic duo. The characters played by them are etched in their memory. Just goes to show, the influence the ‘Rocky’ franchise had on pop culture at that time and still does to this day. The two were rivals in the film but were able to bond together as friends off-screen.

Stallone is still in the public limelight but Mister T. has been enjoying his downtime as he is rarely seen. The actor is now 70 years old and resides between the three homes he has in Chicago, Illinois, and Albuquerque.
