The ongoing heavyweight title talks between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua continue to be a source of drama because of the delays in the announcement of an official date. This is despite both sides having confirmed the matchup after signing a deal.
Tyson Fury has already flown to the USA and has been spotted training for the nearing battle. However, fans cannot see the fight take place anytime in the next three months, as the promoters still have some work to do.
Recently, talkSPORT reporter Michael Benson took to Twitter and revealed the scenario. As per the tweet, Frank Warren doesn’t see the fight taking place before late August and September.

One prime reason for that can be the absence of AJ’s trainer. According to reports, Rob McCracken will stay in Tokyo with Team GB for the Olympic Games from July 23 to August 8. So, it will deprive the unified champion of his prime trainer for a brief period.
While Anthony Joshua is gearing up for the biggest fight of his career, McCracken’s absence will disrupt plans. So, Warren seems to have postponed the dates, to allow both the champions to head into the fight night on the back of perfect and uninterrupted training camps.
