George Kambosos Jr Arouses the Spartan Warrior Spirit in Son Leonidas as He Pens Down a Birthday Note Before Winning His Comeback Fight

George Kambosos Jr did what he said he would. The Greek-Australian professional boxer made a successful comeback in his fight against Maxi Hughes. Kambosos Jr is the new IBO lightweight champion. And even though he added a win to his boxing record, the fans were not pleased with his performance. However, it seems like Kambosos Jr had his priorities set going into this fight as he took to his social media to pen down a message for his son on his birthday.

Kambosos Jr is a family man. Before stepping inside the boxing ring to fight for the championship title, he took to Instagram to share a special message for his son on his birthday. He took inspiration from the Spartan mentality to write the message. And even hinted towards a special gift for his son after his fight.

Before his win, the 30-year-old took to his Instagram story to write a birthday message for his son who recently turned four. The ‘Ferocious’ shared a picture with his son while standing inside the boxing ring. And, surprisingly took inspiration from the story of the Spartans and indicated the values he would like his son to grow with.

While sharing the picture, the champion wrote, “Happy 4th bday to my little spartan warrior, Leonidas Dad has a special present for you after tonight’s fight!!!”

The champion is married to Bec Pereira. And is a father to three children. It seems like the champ has his priorities straight balancing both boxing and family life.

The Kambosos Jr and Shakur Stevenson fiasco

The Australian had a run-in with the two-division world champion Shakur Stevenson after his fight against Hughes. And it seems like the two are already interested in making a bout between them happen over time. Stevenson informed Kambosos Jr that he would be the one winning if a fight between the two happened.

A fight between the two is not likely to happen soon as a potential fight may take place between Stevenson and Devin Haney.
