While earlier such talks of the fight had kept the boxing realm on its toes, Kambosos Jr has now corroborated the reports. ‘Loma’ happens to be rated number 1 by Ring Magazine at Lightweight and these developments come in the light of Loma’s manager, confirming that the Ukrainian fighter would make his title fight sometime next year.
Despite losing the May fight against Devin Haney, most believe that Loma landed more punches on his opponent, and deserved to win over Haney. Kambosos Jr was last seen in the ring more than a year ago against Maxi Hughes, a fight that he won through a majority decision. Now, with reports of a fight between the two, Kambosos Jr is all set to start from where he left off in 2022.
