WBA (Regular) lightweight champion Gervonta Davis recently defended his title against Junior lightweight champion Hector Luis Garcia. The fight that took place on 7th January was somewhat of a tune-up fight for ‘Tank’ who will look to face his longstanding rival Ryan Garcia in April.

However, despite many thinking that the fight will just be some practice for Davis and prepare him for his actual challenge, he certainly didn’t leave any stone unturned when it came to this fight. Moreover, this was on full display after Daivs decided to arrive at the fight venue in an actual tank-like truck.

The champion pulled up in an APC or armored personnel carrier truck which was the size of an actual Tank. In addition, Davis was escorted by his entourage when he got out of this huge vehicle and surprisingly even pulled out a bag of chips.

He then left the area to get ready for his, then upcoming, fight. A fight for which he might be too concerned. However, the fans had a field day as they reacted to this unusual video of ‘Tank’ pulling up in a tank before his fight.

One fan stated that Davis needed the protection because he was from Baltimore, a place known for its hard lifestyle.

Another fan claimed that Davis thought he lived in Mexcio among cartel bosses.

A fan also pointed out that the truck was an APC rather than an actual tank.

Moreover, one fan hilariously stated that Davis might have asked Bruce Wayne to lend him a ride for his next fight.

A fan-made fun of Davis’ height, asking if the truck had a booster seat in it.

Lastly, one fan pointed out that Davis was eating a bag of chips hours before his next fight showcasing his intentions perfectly.

Davis has been under a lot of fire in the past week after some serious allegations against him were made. However, despite being arrested Davis was let out on a $1000 bail and was cleared to face Luis Garcia.

Now, the champ will look to add another win to his undefeated record even if he didn’t seem too concentrated on the fight itself given the drama surrounding him. However, the fans were not so considerate of Davis as they trolled him for this flamboyant entrance.
