Earlier today, Davis wrote, “[I don’t know] nothing about nothing, but somebody gonna sleep soon..” Even though there hasn’t been an official announcement to confirm the fight as of right now, the CEO of Davis’ former promotional company, Leonard Ellerbe, hinted at the fight being finalized. He wrote back, “Mark it down.”

Despite Davis’ popularity and impeccable skills, Martin is no pushover. Boasting an impressive 18-0 record, the Detroit native has a total of 12 knockout wins. If the fight becomes real, Martin will be desperately looking to halt Davis’ undefeated run. However, Martin isn’t the only potential opponent the Baltimore native had the option to fight.

However, Davis leaked their conversation on X, claiming Hearn only offered him $10 million, far from what Hearn claimed later.

In an interview with Boxing Social, Hearn stated, “I don’t know why I waste my time with this guy, [he’s] like a baby. If you’re not willing to sit down and have a sensible business discussion, like, he doesn’t even know the details of the offer…We made him an eight-figure offer with plenty of upside. He doesn’t even want to discuss the upside because he just gets ill advice.”
