The pre-fight press conference between Paul (5-0) and Rahman(12-1-0) was nothing less than verbal combat. They both made disparaging remarks about the other. A reporter questioned Jake Paul and Hasim Rahman Jr. about if a wager was at stake for their upcoming fight during this time.
Amidst this, Rahman accused Paul of not honoring a previous bet with Matchroom boxing CEO, Eddie Hearn. Furthermore, the Youtuber already had a bet for his opponent in his mind. Paul stated, “The bet didn’t go through. Eddie Hearn pulled out. You wanna bet $500k, you boast on your Instagram.”
Rahman – “I never said I wanted to bet. You can’t read…This is Jake Paul right, he wanna twist things up.”

Paul further asked, “Alright, let’s bet this, when I beat you, you have to change your Instagram name to I let my dad down.”
Rahman replied with – “I don’t got time to be playing with you, bro.”

‘The Problem Child’ is renowned for making outlandish gambles with his adversaries. This time, Paul reportedly asked Rahman to change his Instagram name to “I let my dad down” if the latter lost the fight. Unsurprisingly, the press conference turned into a bitter chatter as the two threw insults at each other.
