Numerous headlines have already been spawned from Jake Paul’s bout on August 6. Tommy Fury and Paul first traded harsh barbs until Fury withdrew from the match and Hasim Rahman Jr. was introduced as the replacement opponent. There have been several unheard-of events during the conflict. Well, this war has a brand-new, intriguing twist.

The pre-fight press conference between Paul (5-0) and Rahman(12-1-0) was nothing less than verbal combat. They both made disparaging remarks about the other. A reporter questioned Jake Paul and Hasim Rahman Jr. about if a wager was at stake for their upcoming fight during this time.

Amidst this, Rahman accused Paul of not honoring a previous bet with Matchroom boxing CEO, Eddie Hearn. Furthermore, the Youtuber already had a bet for his opponent in his mind. Paul stated, “The bet didn’t go through. Eddie Hearn pulled out. You wanna bet $500k, you boast on your Instagram.”

Rahman – “I never said I wanted to bet. You can’t read…This is Jake Paul right, he wanna twist things up.” 

Paul further asked, “Alright, let’s bet this, when I beat you, you have to change your Instagram name to I let my dad down.”

Rahman replied with – “I don’t got time to be playing with you, bro.”

‘The Problem Child’ is renowned for making outlandish gambles with his adversaries. This time, Paul reportedly asked Rahman to change his Instagram name to “I let my dad down” if the latter lost the fight. Unsurprisingly, the press conference turned into a bitter chatter as the two threw insults at each other.

Jake Paul says he wants to sue Tommy Fury 

The conflict between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury has been going on for a while. August 6 was the scheduled day for their confrontation, but the British boxer withdrew from the contest, stating he had trouble getting a visa to enter the United States. Yet, according to an interview with Fury’s father, TNT was not in shape for the fight because of a lack of preparation. Paul seized this opportunity to diminish Fury.

He took to Twitter and wrote, “I should sue this fool. Own dad exposes why he pulled out a second time.”

Moreover, Fury had canceled their first fight in December due to an injury. Now he has done it again.
