The hype of the Jake Paul vs Hasim Rahman Jr. fight is rising by the day. It is becoming one of the most anticipated matches of the year owing to the twists and turns that it had. Recently, Hasim Rahman Jr has made a statement that might be a problem for Paul.

Recently in an interview with FightHye.com, Rahman stated, “I just know that VADA was a part of the Tommy Fury negotiations, but it was never brought up here now. I come from the USA team. When I was on the USA team I was ranked, so they would come to my house and come drug test me before we went out to compete. That’s not a fact. VADA has nothing to do with this fight. VADA was never brought up in this situation. So I don’t understand, like I said, take it or leave it. I didn’t get to have a say.”

Bob Arum spills some beans about Jake Paul vs Hasim Rahman Jr. fight 

TopRank boss Bob Arum is a seasoned promoter and is one of the most experienced individuals in the boxing industry. He was recently quizzed about the rehydration clause for the Jake Paul vs Hasim Rahman fight.

Arum stated, “You know I don’t know anything about the kid Rahman Jr. And it may very well be that making him lose so much pounds is going to deplete him. So he is easy for Paul to knock out. But I don’t really know.”

When asked about the rehydration clause, Arum replied, “I think they are putting as many obstacles in Rahman Jr’s path, because you know straight up Paul doesn’t think he can beat him.”

The veteran explained that Paul doesn’t feel that he can defeat Rahman. But, the winner can only be decided on August 6. The bout is set to take place in the Mecca of boxing, the Madison Square Garden in New York City.
