Recently in an interview with FightHye.com, Rahman stated, “I just know that VADA was a part of the Tommy Fury negotiations, but it was never brought up here now. I come from the USA team. VADA was never brought up in this situation. So I don’t understand, like I said, take it or leave it. I didn’t get to have a say.”

Arum stated, “You know I don’t know anything about the kid Rahman Jr. And it may very well be that making him lose so much pounds is going to deplete him. So he is easy for Paul to knock out. But I don’t really know.”

When asked about the rehydration clause, Arum replied, “I think they are putting as many obstacles in Rahman Jr’s path, because you know straight up Paul doesn’t think he can beat him.”
