Deontay Wilder reveals why Anthony Joshua lost

In an interview with ES News, Wilder stated that AJ performed exactly the way he was expected to. He claimed that, unlike in the first fight, Joshua tried to be cautious and not rush in. However, he was unable to keep this up throughout the 12-rounds, which resulted in him losing the fight. He also praised Usyk, claiming that he was the better boxer.

Joshua did exactly what we expected him to do, you know what I mean, to be cautious and to run out of gas. He has a serious stamina problem, and we knew that he would be very cautious because of what happened before and as you see, he was very cautious of throwing punches and things like that and the best man won that night,” said Wilder.
