Andrew Tate, who gained worldwide fame as a misogynist influencer is behind bars since he got detained by Romanian authorities on the charges of human trafficking, rape, and organized syndicate. First, the 36-year-old was put on pre-trial for 30 days and later Romanian judiciary extended the time period of detention in order to complete their investigation.

Before going to jail, the man was a rage on the internet. Showboating was his trope to draw in young and impressionable fans. Apart from his million-dollar wealth which he supposedly acquired through several unscrupulous means, the influencer was extending his reach among the youth through Youtube. Though his school of thought is toxic, the younger audience is quite receptive towards his controversial takes.

Prior to being a social media influencer and a business mogul, the man was a fighter. He is a 4-time kickboxing world champion. His record says that his entire kickboxing career lasted over a decade. He took part in 85 bouts and has a phenomenal record of 76-9 before taking retirement in 2016.

Most fans on Twitter do not feel that Tate has what it takes to compete professionally in boxing. It can possibly be because he lost his reflexes after being out of the sport for many years.
