

Wladimir Klitschko is considered one of the knockout maestros in the heavyweight division. His professional career aside, Klitschko had a personal life that was regularly under the public eye. Meanwhile, his ex-partner Hayden Panettiere recently opened up about her relationship with Klitschko.

Panettiere was talking at the ‘Red Table Talk‘ hosted by actress Jada Pinkett Smith. Moreover, singer and actress Kelly Osbourne was present as a guest for the episode. In conversation, Panettiere mentioned she suffered from multiple body insecurities and postpartum depression. This was when Smith asked her if Klitschko recognized she was struggling with the same.
In response, Panettiere began by praising Klitschko’s achievements. She said, “I respect him for being such a driven human being. And he is very positive, athletes just, they’re very diligent.”

She further mentioned, “He is also a man, doesn’t have any sisters. So he really thought that I was doing it to myself. That I could choose to snap out of it. When he signs his emails, it says, ‘if you control your mind, you control everything’. And I look at it all the time and I’m like, that is so not true.”

Panettiere also added that she understood that Klitschko’s upbringing in the Soviet Union had a major hand in molding his behavior. As he had to face countless struggles in his quest to become successful. And, in turn, affected his perception of emotions.
Wladimir Klitschko was not an emotional person
Hayden Panettiere played an alcoholic in the series named, ‘Nashville’, and was even pregnant on the show. This was also when she suffered from postpartum depression. She revealed she had to literally act out what she was going through.

Panettiere mentioned that Klitschko’s motto of controlling one’s mind did not work for her. And that he was unable to understand what she was going through. She said, “Works for him. He’s been hugely successful. And I always look at him in awe. All the things that he has achieved. But understanding and being an emotional person, especially with what I do for a living. You know was like, it’s just totally different.”
Panettiere also mentioned that unlike what Klitschko thought, she did not have control over what she was going through.
