After his emphatic knockout win over Kubrat Pulev in their main-event clash on December 12, Anthony Joshua vowed to face Tyson Fury and sent the entire Wembley Arena into a frenzy.

However, former pugilist turned analyst Carl Froch believes AJ might not want the fight. Despite Anthony Joshua’s clear approval for the heavyweight matchup, Froch accused him of passing the debate to Eddie Hearn and the audience’s corner.

Carl Froch claims Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua is the only fight that makes sense. But, he appeared to have wanted more passion from Joshua while demanding the heavyweight title unification fight.

The former super middleweight champion connected with Sky Sports to provide his opinion on AJ vs Fury. While he was in no mood to demean Anthony Joshua, some of his replies might not have gone down well with AJ’s fans.

Froch said, “It does. So that, I nearly said earlier about the only concern I had and you just said it there. Eddie Hearn said it, but Anthony Joshua didn’t say it. He kind of refused to say it. I don’t know because at what point, why would you wouldn’t want to say that’s the one.”

He added, “He (Joshua) asked the crowd, he then put it over to Eddie Hearn… I think the only guy out there for him is Tyson Fury. It’s the kind of the only fight that the crowd are going to accept.”
