

The trilogy showdown between ‘The Bronze Bomber’ Deontay Wilder, and ‘The Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury, is often considered one the most explosive fights that the heavyweight division has experienced in recent times. While the duo had fights with other opponents after, it can be said that the matchups weren’t as sensational. Fury is currently in talks to face Oleksandr Usyk for an undisputed bout. Meanwhile, there have been speculations about Fury vs Wilder IV. Boxing promoter, Frank Warren, on the other hand, quickly dispelled the rumors.

Warren was in a telephonic interview with Jim White and Simon Jordan of Talksport. In conversation, he was asked about Wilder facing Fury for the fourth time. Warren responded, by saying, “No, absolutely. That’s not happened. From what I understand, I think he [Wilder] been ordered to fight Andy Ruiz to become the mandatory.”

Moreover, he mentioned they were focused on making Fury vs Usyk a reality. Warren further added, “We are very, very close to getting this done. Very, very close. His people are coming in tomorrow and I’m hoping we’re gonna get some news for everybody. We’re close to getting it done.” Additionally, Warren also stated that he was hopeful of getting an agreement during the meeting.
