Foreman recalled an incident when he decided that he doesn’t want lions and tigers anymore. He had raised a lion from a cub. As such, he had a good relationship with the lion, but one day the beast attacked him as the boxer was trying to save his brother.
He said, “And I didn’t want my brother to be killed. I attacked the lion back. And just by hair, I’m here today and the lion is not. I had to depart with my beloved lion because I realised they would never be a pet.”
“Evidently, when I swung, I missed him by an inch and screamed. And feel just a little bit out of his territory, and he saw my charge and understood that I was just as dangerous as him. That moment, and he moved, we both parted company, and we never were friends again.”
Foreman was able to repel the beast during their combat, and then they separated. Even boxing phenom Mike Tyson had three pet tigers at his residence, but even he had to give them away as they grew up.
