Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is a true beast inside the ring. However, the former champ has a soft spot in his heart for his wife and his family. And boxing fans have been in awe of how ‘Iron’ Mike transitions from a formidable heavyweight to a loving family man. Tyson once opened up about why he does not care about his wife being with another person.

Tyson was in an interview with Zab Judah of VladTV ahead of his fight with Roy Jones Jr. In conversation, Judah mentioned to Tyson that a successful man has an equally strong woman by his side. Tyson nodded in agreement, and said, “This is what I know about my wife. This is the only thing that I know about my wife. I don’t know who she’s sleeping with, who she can be with. But, I know this, that her whole existence is me and the kids. My other kids too. As long as I know that she can do whatever she wants.”

Additionally, Tyson also mentioned that one can’t justify his existence as a man without having a strong woman by his side.

Mike Tyson was married twice prior to his marriage to Lakiha ‘Kiki’ Spicer. His first marriage was to Robin Givens on February 7, 1988. However, the marriage was a tumultuous affair that ended in a divorce a year later. Tyson then married Monica Turner on April 19, 1997, but that relationship also ended in divorce in 2003.

Tyson then married his longtime girlfriend, Kiki Spicer, in a private ceremony on June 6, 2009, at the La Bella Wedding Chapel at the Las Vegas Hilton. Additionally, the couple also has two children, a daughter named Milan Tyson, and a son named Morocco Tyson.
