“I Don’t Want To Keep Seeing That Sh*t”- Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis Slams The Idea Of A Trilogy Between Gennady Golovkin And Canelo Alvarez

Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, the upcoming poster boy of the boxing scene, is currently amongst the most popular pugilists in the world. The 27-year-old from Baltimore has had an excellent record till now. With his consistently promising performances, fans look at him as the next big thing. 

Recently, in a conversation with Fight Hub TV, Gervonta Davis had a say in the forthcoming Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol match. When asked about what he makes of the Alvarez vs Bivol fight, he said, “Canelo over everybody.” Furthermore, Tank Davis was asked if he has seen Bivol fight before, and he replied, “No”.

He also added, “Not better than Canelo”. Gervonta Davis certainly seems to have great confidence in Alvarez and his abilities.

Meanwhile, Davis has not even seen Bivol fight before, but his utter conviction in Alvarez’s victory is spotless. For him, Canelo Alvarez can beat everybody.

“I don’t care if it’s hard or not. He is going to win”, said Davis when asked if Bivol would be a hard fight for Alvarez.

Alvarez vs Golovkin III is one of the most anticipated fights of 2022. Fans all around the world are waiting for this bout to happen. If this fight does take place, a large sum of money will be at stake. The two A-list fighters have faced each other twice in the ring before. The first match ended in a stalemate in September 2017. Nevertheless, a year later, Alvarez defeated Golovkin by decision.

Gervonta Davis also had something to say about the match. “Hell no,” Davis said when asked if he wanted to watch Canelo Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin again. “I don’t wanna keep seeing that sh**.”

Both Alvarez and Golovkin are impressive to watch. Each of them has his own unique style of boxing, which has left the rest of the world in amazement. Their previous matches against each other had been tough and breathtaking.

There hasn’t been an official announcement about their next meeting. We’ll just have to wait and see if we get to see these two megastars in the ring again.
