‘Tank’ took to Twitter and shared the emotional message with the world. Davis’s childhood was full of ups and down. His father was incarcerated, and his mother was a drug abuser. As a result, he and his two brothers shifted into childcare homes for more than three years before their grandmother took them in.

Davis tweeted and recalled his humble beginnings and how he had to build everything up from the ground. Davis also wrote, “I had to burry sum homies I love.”

This can be considered an insight into the place where he comes from. Davis grew up on violent and unsafe streets. And he has been open about the gun shootings that were prevalent where he use to live.

And this is not the first time, the former lightweight champion got emotional remembering the ones close to him who died. Not that long ago, he penned down another emotional message on Twitter.
