“I Was Kind of Turned Off”: Amanda Serrano and Jake Paul Relive Their First Memory of Meeting Each Other

On March 3rd, Jake Paul and Amanda Serrano will make their return to the squared circle. While Amanda Serrano will face Nina Meinke with the undisputed Featherweight title on the line, Paul will square off against Ryan Bourland on the undercard of Meinke vs. Serrano. Ahead of this upcoming event, Paul and Serrano gave an interview to DAZN Boxing where the duo recounted meeting each other for the first time.

While Serrano said she was turned off by ‘The Problem Child’ in their first meeting, Paul mentioned how Serrano fascinated him. Soon, Paul signed the female star and promoted one of the biggest fights of her life. Anyway, here is what happened when the two boxers met one another for the first time in Miami.

When Jake Paul made his professional debut against Ali Eson Gib in 2020, Amanda Serrano fought Simone Aparecida da Silva on the undercard of Paul vs. Gib. Since Serrano’s two nephews were Paul’s fans, the Puerto Rican boxer decided to meet Paul after their fights. “It’s actually a funny story. And I remember walking up to you,” began Serrano. However, when she finally met Jake, she “was kind of turned off“.

I wsnt to go, shake your hand. Then, you gave me a fist bump and said, ‘No, I don’t shake hands’. And I was like, ‘Oh, this kid!‘” explained Serrano as Paul listened. But, why did Jake Paul not shake Amanda’s hand? “So, I had like covid… I was saving everyone else,” replied ‘The Problem Child’. At this Serrano gratefully added, “You saved my life in many ways.”

Along these lines, Serrano mentioned that the first time she met Jake, they were in Logan Paul’s house in LA. And, as they went to a gym to work out, Serrano noticed Jake’s work ethic. As a result, she said, “And then we were at the gym. From there, mesmerized by your work. You work super hard. One of the hardest workers in the gym.

At this while, Serrano complimented Jake, the latter mentioned how ‘The Real Deal’ impressed ‘The Problem Child’ by whooping her opponent Simone Aparecida da Silva in 2020. “I was watching the fight.
