Heavyweight legend Mike Tyson has often walked out of the box to entertain the fans with his activities. Often, he did them for his own benefit, but the media and fans didn’t fail to put it in the spotlight.
Starting from his luxurious mansions, to wild pets, to girlfriends, Tyson could never hide his personal life from the world. That said, he remains a public figure and doesn’t hesitate to reveal his life in front of the world. It is no secret that Mike Tyson is fond of pigeons and has always sheltered them at his place.
Prior to his boxing return against Roy Jones Jr, the heavyweight great was spotted feeding his pigeons from home. So, it’s evident that Mike Tyson is still fond of it, especially when he claimed he would pay $2million for one pigeon.

“Why is one pigeon worth $2 and one worth $2 million? You know why? It’s because of who his mother was or who his father was. It’s because who their family bloodline was,” said Tyson.
Meanwhile, Tyson deployed a straight answer when he was asked whether he would buy a pigeon worth $2 million.
“But I would, it’s worth it (on paying $2 million for a pigeon). Sometimes they trace them (pigeons) back from the crusades, bloodline,” added the heavyweight boxer.
Mike Tyson and his love for animals
Tyson always had an eye for different animals. Back in his prime, he used to pet wild tigers and pigeons. According to reports, he put a lot of money into buying the animals. But, after he was declared bankrupt in 2003, Tyson had to part ways with all his pet creatures.
