Recently, an old training video of ‘Pretty Boy’ surfaced on the internet. In the video, he can be seen doing heavy mitt work, alongside uncle Roger Mayweather.

In the above video, Mayweather showed off his offense, defense, head movements, leg movements, and so much more. Mitt work often helps a boxer concentrate on his opponents’ moves. On top of it, this workout helps a boxer figure out when to attack his adversaries during a rigorous exchange.

That said, Mayweather, in his training camps, often used to dedicate a substantial amount of time to mitt work. Moreover, he couldn’t have asked for anyone better than his uncle Roger Mayweather to help him improve his drills with this workout.

Because of mitt work, Mayweather’s fight IQ turned even better, as he was able to read his opponents’ approach and game plan in no time.
