David Benavidez wants a shot at the championship titles held by fellow Mexican Canelo Alvarez. And it is safe to say that a fight between the two will be extremely entertaining to watch. Benavidez won his last fight against Caleb Plant via unanimous decision. And called out the ‘Cinnamon’ for a fight, following his win. But it seems like fighting Benavidez is not on the list at the moment for Alvarez. Benavidez’s team assured fans that they had sent an offer to Alvarez’s team for a potential showdown with Benavidez. But, it seems like those talks did not bear any fruit.

Benavidez’s manager took to social media to make a rather disappointing announcement about a potential fight between Alvarez and Benavidez. And the news has caused a stir among the fans, who are unpleased about the fight not taking place between these two.
