Just a few days away from their in-ring collision, Manny Pacquiao and Yordenis Ugas came face-to-face. Relishing a few advantages under physical parameters, ’54 Milagros’ Ugas seemed to be the bigger guy. However, Pacquiao didn’t seem bothered about the differences.
The eight-division champion reacted to meeting Yordenis Ugas in person and appeared pleased to be in the position. Although he agreed that he sized up the current WBA welterweight champion, Pacquiao didn’t infuse any harsh feelings over Ugas.
When asked about the face-off, Manny Pacquiao said, “It’s okay, it’s nice to see him.”

Akin to his previous face-offs, Pacquiao didn’t seem to showcase any emotion. Yordenis Ugas, who has claimed to have a lot of respect for Pacquiao, showed the same. Hence, the press meet went ahead with no trash-talking.
Manny Pacquiao Comments on Canelo Alvarez’s Career: “I Always Watch His Fight”
The Cuban boxer, Ugas, is currently on a three-fight win streak and has been a top-tier champion in the 147 lbs division. Also, as he has also been more active than Pacquiao in the past few years, ‘54 Milagros’ can shock the world on the fight night.
However, he cannot afford to look past Pacquiao as the veteran legend was already in shape and was prepared to take on Errol Spence Jr. Given this, a sudden shift to Yordenis Ugas seems to be a downfall in the quality of Pacquiao’s opponent. Hence, Pacquiao may have a calm night at the office.
