Jake Paul and KSI have been at each other’s throats over the last few months taking shots at each other on social media, with Paul claiming that The British Youtuber is not his level. This has many fans wondering if the pair could possibly take each other on sometime in the future.

Moreover, Paul has now been backed by Matchroom Promotions president, Eddie Hearn, who gave his take on a potential match-up between the two YouTube sensations.

Eddie Hearn gives his take on Paul vs KSI

The British promoter recently came out on the DAZN Boxing Show and shared his thoughts on how a fight between the two would play out.

He went on to state that he did not consider Paul as a “YouTube Boxer,” and that he was a professional now. “Jake is in a different category now, I don’t even class Jake as YouTube boxer anymore, I class him as a real boxer,” he said.

Notably, he also added that KSI had been away from the sport for some time, which could make the fight dangerous for him.”KSI’s taken a couple of years out, he’s come back. That would be a very dangerous fight for KSI,” Hearn concluded.

It looks like Hearn has high praise for The Problem Child, which is surprising considering that the two haven’t had the best of relationships since they co-promoted Amanda Serrano vs Katie Taylor.

KSI vs Jake Paul

Hearn might have a point when he stated that this would be a dangerous fight for KSI, as Paul will be the favorite to win the fight if it ever happens. The Ohio-based boxer is currently 5-0 with wins over names like Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren and will be looking to add another one on August 6 against Hasim Rahman Jr.

KSI, on the other hand, was more focused on his music career since his fight against Logan Paul. However, he is also set to make his return to the squared circle to face fellow Youtuber Alex Wassabi on August 27.
