Jake Paul is all set to face MMA legend, Anderson Silva, for an 8-round tango. The bout at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, has also piqued interest for the notable names fighting in the undercard. In a recent interview, Paul opened up about his undercards, Le’Veon Bell, and Dr. Mike.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back, Bell, will face UFC middleweight contender, Uriah Hall. Meanwhile, internet personality and physician, Dr. Mikhail Varshavski AKA Dr. Mike was fighting MMA star, Chris Avila under the same card. On the other hand, Paul was recently interviewed by TMZ Sports.

In the conversation, the interviewer asked him about the undercards during the event. Paul responded by saying, “Man we came up with the idea on my show. With, Le’Veon was on the show. And I was like yo, do you want to fight someone October 29th? He’s like yeah let’s do it. And I was like alright let’s make it happen. He was like give me anyone I’m beating them.”

He also mentioned that both Bell and Dr. Mike were taking a major risk by facing professional fighters.

Paul further added, “There hasn’t been an influencer fighter or a celebrity fighter to fight another professional in a professionally sanctioned bout. And both Le’Veon and Dr. Mike are doing it. I was the only one before them previously.”

He also stated that the event was an exciting night with stacked fights.

Fans had been curious about what was in store for Jake Paul after an explosive performance against Tyrone Woodley in 2021. However, the wait grew longer after his fights with Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr. were canceled.

This was when it was announced that he will face Anderson Silva. Talking about the same, he said, “I’m knocking this guy out, I’m promising everyone that. Come back to this interview, everyone, after the fight, and they’ll say, ‘Wow, he predicted the future.'”

Paul is set to face Silva on October 29, 2022.
