When asked about Paul’s victory over Anderson Silva, Matchroom Boxing president Eddie Hearn remarked that he only saw the knockdown and a few moments, but he gave credit to Paul for this feat. Silva is an experienced fighter, despite his age, and Paul demonstrated his value by defeating him, said Hearn.

Hearn further added, “So I think Jake is improving. I think he is working hard, you know. He does a lot of things wrong in the ring, but he’s not a boxer, he has not been around. Like he hasn’t been boxing for years and years. So Anderson Silva, you know, yes, not a boxer, 48, still has spent time fighting. Was a decent stand-up fighter in MMA, but he was very old, but its a win. And I think now, Jake really has to fight a boxer to get. I don’t think he’s going to get any, and he’s never gonna get the credit. Maybe once or he deserves until he actually fights a professional boxer.”

Eddie Hearn sues Jake Paul for making false allegations
The Ohio native had accused Hearn of paying off judge Glenn Feldman for the Oleksandr Usyk vs. Anthony Joshua rematch. Moreover, Paul even said that Hearn paid the same judge for the Taylor vs. Serrano clash as well.

Apparently, Hearn is suing the Youtuber turned boxer for $100 million in damages and defamation. The lawsuit states that ‘Paul outrageously false and baseless allegations.’ The British promoter has clearly denied all the allegations made by Paul and is expecting $100 from him.
