Former boxing champ Floyd Mayweather had one of the most lucrative athletic careers. The Hall of Famer is placed among the greatest boxers of all time, and he has amassed a fortune through his professional career that lasted from 1996 to 2017. Mayweather likes to live his life king size, but he is often criticized for his pricey possessions. 

Recently, UFC star Jorge Masvidal shared a post where he wrote, “Despite being sued by #LoganPaul for not giving him his cut of the Pay-Per-View and the #Dubai sponsorships, #FloydMayweather flaunts a brand new purchase…” 

Apparently, American Youtuber Logan Paul engaged in a boxing fight with Floyd Mayweather in 2021. With both of them having a massive following, a lot of money was on the line. However, Paul has been calling out the five-division champion for not paying him his share of the money.

Although Masvidal mentioned Mayweather’s private jet as brand new, the boxer had bought the aircraft way before his fight with Paul. 

Floyd Mayweather’s next billion-dollar run might put his undefeated record at risk 

The 45-year-old is set to face Japanese fighter, Mikuru Asakura, in his upcoming exhibition bout. Mayweather retired from professional boxing in 2017, but there are rumors that he might have to put his professional record at risk for a magnanimous showdown. 

Mayweather fought UFC sensation, Conor McGregor, back in 2017. Lately, the latter has been inactive in the sport because of his leg injury from his last fight. But now he seems fit to return to fighting again, and there is a high probability that he will make a striking return by going up against ‘Money’. 

As per TheSun, the American boxer has offered $157.9 million to ‘The Notorious One’ for a potential rematch. Their last fight earned both of them massive paychecks. It is speculated that this time it might be worth a staggering $1 billion. Interestingly, a source revealed, “Conor will only take the fight providing Floyd is willing to put his professional record on the line – so the fight will not be an exhibition, it will be an official fight.”
