Josh Taylor Drops “Cold, Hard Facts” on Teofimo Lopez

Right after his win over Jose Ramirez, the unified titlist, Josh Taylor, who is targeting the champions of other weight classes, hasn’t shied away from calling them out. After aiming at the 147 lbs champion Terence Crawford, Taylor has now belittled Teofimo Lopez.
Although Lopez vs Taylor can be an intriguing matchup, the 140 lbs champion doesn’t seem interested. Meanwhile, Lopez’s father has already hinted at putting his son against the ‘Tartan Tornado’. That said, Josh Taylor didn’t acknowledge Teofimo Lopez as a unified champion.

He took to social media and compared his stature to that of Teofimo Lopez. While both men hold world titles at their respective divisions, Teofimo Lopez is just a WBC (franchise) lightweight champion, with Devin Haney holding the actual belt. This could be the catalyst to an in-ring feud between the two.
