Gervonta Davis will face Ryan Garcia in one of the most awaited matchups in boxing. Both Lightweights are the top prospects in the division and will be eyeing to make a statement when they meet each other inside the ring next month. Davis is known for being outspoken and upfront about his perspectives and opinions. And it is safe to say that not everyone is a fan of the Baltimore hard-hitter.
It seems like Gervonta Davis has an ambiguous message from a fellow professional boxer ahead of this fight. Recently, a Ukrainian professional boxer delivered a very cryptic message to ‘Tank’ Davis.

A cryptic message for Gervonta Davis
Ukrainian professional boxer and a former sparring partner for Davis took to Twitter to post a message for ‘Tank.‘ Ivan Redkach, known for his feisty performances inside the ring, is the one who wrote the message. He further posted an old photo of him and the 28-year-old.
@Gervontaa when a dog has nothing to do, it licks its balls – so do you. keep your getto behavior for your pointless security guards. pointless because who the hell needs you outside the ring. Breathe evenly! you, of course, are still a b@st@rd, but we will assume that I was pic.twitter.com/eGOsbgYkkV

The message begins on a very weird note by making a comparison between dogs and Davis. And, further, Redkach took a jab at Davis for his alleged “getto behavior.” He further added that Davis should keep that behavior to his bodyguards. This could indicate an altercation Davis got into last year at a nightclub. Davis and ‘El Terrible’ have had online altercations before, and this is not something new to both of them. When Davis got arrested recently, the 38-year-old did not hold back from taking shots at him again.
Redkach further got personal with Davis and wrote, “Who the hell needs you outside the ring.” He also called Davis a “b**tard” and the whole message was rather confusing. If you are unable to understand the whole essence of the message, well, it’s safe to say that you’re not alone.
Where is Ivan Redkach now?
Born in Ukraine, Redkach made a name for himself in boxing. His professional record is 23-6-1. He last fought in 2021 and has not made any ring appearance since then. He was scheduled to fight Adrien Broner, but in the end, he had to step back from the fight. Redkach is considered old for boxing at 38. But it seems that he is on high spirits, and the fans can expect to see him inside the ring.

The bitterness between Davis and Redkach goes way back. And it is easy to believe that the social media jabs will only continue between the two. Only time will tell what their rivalry has in reserve.
