Boxing is a violent sport. Many boxers in the past unfortunately have been victims of injuries that were life-altering. The wave of celebrity boxing has taken over the sport by storm, with celebrities from different walks of life trying their hands at the sport of boxing. The same has received criticism and praise. Few boxing purists consider it a mockery of the sport while few consider it to be a way of introducing the sport to new fans. Regardless of what one may think, celebrity boxing is a prevalent part of the sport which garners interest from the public.
KSI is one such entity that has been the face of celebrity boxing for a substantial period. However, former world champion Jessi Vargas did not rate KSI’s boxing abilities, and the YouTuber had an interesting reaction to the same.

KSI responds to a “Do it right” message from Jessi Vargas
Jessi Vargas is a former boxing champion and continues to compete professionally. Recently, he recorded a video of himself sharing his opinion on the technique of KSI and YouTube boxing at large.
He stated, “KSI does not know how to throw a proper punch, there’s no technique behind it.” Thereafter, he also shows his concern over the fact that he may get hurt competing if he continues to fight the way he does. He added, “This kid, could get hurt being in the sport of boxing because he’s not doing it correctly”. Later, he advises YouTubers to do it “Right”. “And I think other YouTubers need to take this sport seriously, this isn’t a game and if you’re going to do it, do it right,” he further stated.

Meanwhile, KSI does not agree with what was shared by the former champion. He responded to the Tweet with one single laughing emoji. Below is his response.

Vargas made sure to clear the air and clarify what led him to make his opinion public. He responded to KSI’s response saying, “I wish you much success bro. Just giving my humble opinion.”

The fans at large, appreciated the response as he recently was in a controversy of calling out a boxing commentator for having an opinion.
Jessi Vargas confesses his concern over celebrity boxing
In the same thread, user @ron3times69 expressed disagreement with the comments made by Vargas. He stated, “Jessie You’re really making yourself look like a fool with this one.” To which, Vargas confessed that it was his concern speaking for nobody to get hurt in the sport while competing. He stated, “Speaking facts. I don’t want anyone getting hurt doing my sport. This sport needs to be taken serious.”

Indeed, the sport can get dangerous. Though, one may have conflicting opinions on what the former champion had to say about KSI and Celebrity boxing at large.
