Former five-division world champion, Floyd Mayweather, is undoubtedly one of the living icons of the sporting. With a stellar skillset backing him up, Mayweather is widely recognized as one of the best defensive boxers of all time. And it would come as no surprise if this legendary skillset is passed down his bloodline. In fact, Mayweather’s 1-year-old grandson, is already on the way to following in his grandfather’s footsteps.

Mayweather recently shared a video of his grandson, Kentrell Gaulden Jr. Notably, Gaulden Jr. is his daughter, Iyanna Mayweather’s son. It showed the youngster engaged in a passionate training session with a T-Rex boxing dummy.

Gaulden was shown wearing blue boxing gloves, which were a bit too high for him. However, what set him apart was the skillset that he possessed for his age.

The youngest member of the Mayweather clan was seen shadowing his grandfather’s defensive style of boxing. Moreover, Gaulden Jr. bobbed and weaved in front of the dummy. And then proceeded to unleash a volley of punches.

Gaulden Jr. surely impressed his grandfather with his impressive performance. And this also further cements the fact, that the apple does not fall far from the tree.

The Floyd Mayweather bloodline impresses boxing lovers once again

There is no denying that Kentrell Gaulden Jr. impressed boxing lovers with his performance. In fact, a lot of fans and celebrities took to social media to commend the youngest member of the Mayweather bloodline.

The boxing world was quick to show its support for Gaulden Jr. Former champ, Shane Mosley, said, “I like it looking good already.”

Boxing GWOAT Claressa Shields, wrote, “Amazing!!”

Other celebrities quickly pitched in. NFL player, Dez Bryant, said, “This what it’s all about right here.”

Similarly, basketball player, Archie Goodwin, said, “Getting active early!”

Comedian, Na’im Lynn, mentioned, “Damn. He really got it though.”

Meanwhile, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, Leonard Ellerbe, was sure who the new torchbearer of Mayweather promotions will be. He wrote, “Mayweather Promotions the Past Present and Future of Sports and Entertainment!”

BC Lions wide receiver, De’Anthony Thomas, quickly recognized the future champ. He said, “LOL WHEN I SEEN THAT DUCK IM LIKE THIS KID DIFFERENT.”

Similarly, a fan named, Rashad Jones, pitched in. He said, “Yo the bob and weave and patience! That is not teachable! He is a future phenom.”

Champ Kennel added, “We know he’s going to be a star his blood too deep‼️”

And, JKDBullyzz mentioned, “He is not being forced you can tell it’s what he wants it’s in the bloodline.”

It seems certain that the Mayweather bloodline is paving the way for yet another champion in the sport of boxing.
