Mike Tyson and His Family Launch a Charitable Organization to Help Incarcerated Women

The world predominantly knows Mike Tyson for the unusual anecdotes and controversies surrounding his life. Right from his early boxing days, Tyson’s personal and professional lives were filled with trials. But with time, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ transformed into an altogether unique individual who looked to impact people’s lives positively.
That said, ‘Iron’ Mike along with his family, launched a charitable organization named We 2 Matter. The prime work of this organization will be to support and empower 100 incarcerated women and provide them with all the resources to reenter society.
Moreover, Tyson’s organization will also look to educate the public on the challenges faced by women once they serve their punishments.

One of the prime women to begin this initiative alongside Tyson’s family, is his mother-in-law, Dr. Rita Ali. She served a substantial term and would know what it takes to settle back into one’s old life.
‘Iron’ Mike and his family celebrated We 2 Matter initiative on the eve of Mother’s day. They even invited 10 mothers from Los Angeles, who were recently behind bars.
Mike Tyson will be a prime face of this organization. This just adds to the noble causes he has taken up.
Will Mike Tyson really take up another exhibition bout?

In November 2020, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ touched gloves with Roy Jones Jr. As expected, this fight became one of the biggest boxing events of 2021, enjoying a whopping 1.6 million PPV buys.
In fact, over the past few months, Tyson was in sheer talks to stage a fight with old rival Evander Holyfield. However, the fight couldn’t reach terms and it fell through.

Despite that, Tyson, who is optimistic about securing an exhibition tussle, hasn’t stopped his training routines. In fact, he’s immersed himself in extensive training ever since that last exhibition encounter. The 54-year-old is currently enjoying his time in the gym.
