Mike Tyson’s struggle with drugs is well-known to his fans worldwide. Once Tyson even admitted by saying that he had abused drugs to the point where he almost died. The ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ spoke about having a blue nose and almost always bleeding. In his latest interview with Angier Martinez, Tyson spoke about getting rid of addiction and being disciplined.
While talking, at one point, Angie Martinez referred to Tyson controlling his boiling rage inside. She asked how the former world champion would do it.

Replying to Martinez, Tyson said, “Well, I’m pretty disciplined. Those areas as far as my brain controlling my rage. I do my manifesting and my meditation. I’ve been doing this since I’m like 14, 15.”

In his own words, Tyson admitted by saying, “Man, I got away from that stuff after I got really a big fight and became a celebrity. And then you know my mind started thinking differently – it’s about pleasure.”
Fortunately, he realized that he had more to offer in life.
“I started getting involved with plant medicine and animal medicine. And I think that pretty much killed any of my affinity for cocaine or liquor,” said the ‘Kid Dynamite.’

Giving up alcohol and cocaine, Tyson brought a new wave of light to his life.
Tyson once overdosed himself to the point of losing his life
In a recent episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, Tyson with his lifelong therapist Seano spoke about what drugs did to him. According to Mike, very often he overdosed himself resulting in a blue nose and bleeding. Fortunately, with the love of his beloved wife, Tyson received the courage to fight.
