Mike Tyson was known for being one of the most chiseled heavyweights in the sport. The former heavyweight champion was among the few boxers who were shredded, with defined abs. He broke many misconceptions around the heavyweight division as he walked into the stage with his shredded abs and muscles. But it seems like Tyson is not a fan of people who “kill” themselves in the gym through outrageously hard and challenging workouts. American rapper Wiz Khalifa recently joined the 56-year-old, and the duo discussed the role of fitness for them.
In a recent episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, the former two-time heavyweight champ revealed to Khalifa how people “kill” themselves in the gym. It is safe to say that Tyson knows a thing or two about fitness as he is a boxer with one of the best physiques in the sport for a heavyweight.

The episode’s co-host, DJ Whoo Kid, started the discussion about fitness on the podcast. Whoo Kid pointed out that more rappers are getting into fitness and catching up with the rest. Tyson believes “ego” is why they get into fitness after seeing the rest doing it.
Khalifa further shared his perception of fitness and why he likes it. Khalifa said, “It’s cool to see people challenging themselves or, you know, setting goals or wanting to, you know, do better.” To which, ‘Iron’ Mike added a disturbing fact rather. Tyson talked about the people who “kill” themselves by running too much and busting their hearts. And the former champ has been admitted to having witnessed such events himself.
