Mike Tyson challenges the belief of history and time
In a recent episode of Hotboxin’ along with singer Trippie Redd, Tyson pondered the notion of age, challenging conventional beliefs about how we measure our existence. According to him, time was just a construct set by humans who according to him have been here since the beginning of time.
“I don’t care what religion says, how do we get here? Who are we? Right? We just don’t know. There’s no history. No, it’s not all that bulls**t. Yeah, there’s no history. It’s just facts, and the fact is that um, we’ve been here since the beginning of time, and there’s no history on time, trillions of years, probably more than that,” he said.

Later in the show, Tyson questioned the accuracy of historical accounts. He also pointed out that even renowned figures like Julius Caesar had limited knowledge of the true length of a year. “Well, you don’t know how old you are really, neither Julius Caesar, who’s 70 years before Jesus, said 365 days is a year. So, before Jesus, how do we tell our age? How do we know how old we are? Maybe Medusa was 900 years old Bible. Medusa, if anybody knows who I’m talking about. Yeah, maybe he was 900 years old. Maybe every day is our birthday, right? We don’t know. We’re laughing but we don’t know,” he added.
