Floyd Mayweather, 45, is heading to the UK for the first time to face Liam Harrison in an exhibition which is set to take place at O2 Arena in London. He confirmed the news by making the official announcement through his Instagram. The former five-weight division champ hung up his gloves in 2017. Since then, he has been involved in exhibitions across the world. This time he will lock horns with a Muay Thai fighter from Leeds on 25 February.

Ahead of this highly anticipated showdown, ‘The Pretty Boy’ went viral for his past comments on Muhammad Ali, widely regarded as the greatest fighter of all time. The page named ‘The fight Bible’ shared Mayweather’s comment in which he took a shot at Ali stating that the latter lost against an opponent, who was not worth deserving.

Making this as a base for his rationality, Mayweather boosted his boxing career record and claimed he is ‘the best Ever’.

There is nothing wrong in considering oneself ‘the best’. But things change when one compares himself with others and demean them to prove oneself the best. This is what Mayweather did, and he faced the wrath of the fans.

How did fans tear apart Floyd Mayweather for his comment on Ali?

A fan wrote, “When you have to call yourself the best it just proves that you’re not !!!!!”

Another fan wrote, “No wonder he won so many, look at the size of his gloves!”
